The Doorman inner door handle for the 2001 Tundra has tabs and springs in the wrong spots, but you can still make it fit. Also, Toyota plastic seems to last about twenty years in the Sonoran desert, which is pretty good. Thankfully they don’t make important things like fuel pumps and oil pans out of plastic, ala BMW (who’s plastic lasts about six years down here). A very faded Tundra with fresh glasses for your time.

These look so good with crystal clear headlights. I love the front of these trucks. So classy and understated. My dad’s Tundra also has the place where the plastic has been damaged so much that the outer layer has disintegrated and left it a dull yellowish color above the badg e and in another place on the grille. Some armorall would do wonders for that front bumper cap plastic (the grille doesn’t like the stuff nor do the mudflaps) but only if you put about 5 layers on a few minutes apart.
So you added the front push bar? What exactly is new?

I really should put new light housings on my Sierra. That looks so much better.

The PO put the bull bar on. I just swapped new headlights in. My wife caught a road gator and it cracked the brackets. If you look at the trim under the passenger light you can see it dented that as well. I’ve chasing a creak in the front end so I’ve been swapping out various worn bushings for polyurethane units. It’s still there, and I think it is the LBJ, so those are going in tomorrow.

Rock Auto has them for pretty cheap. ($20ish a piece for mine) and they fit good enough.

Yeah my dad’s truck had every bushing replaced around 2 or 3 years ago since 300k will take their toll on rubber. Rides so much better now, but just about every other suspension component is past its due for a replacement. It’s pretty creaky up front.

Yeah, I’m hoping it’s a quick job, as it is going to be over 110 again tomorrow . I already did uppers and they weren’t too bad.

BTW when I had my tundra one of the plastic things that failed was the shifter bushing. I got it from here https://www.bushingfix.com/
Much cheaper than toyotas offering iirc.

Thanks for the heads up, I’ll be ordering one of those tonight.
